How is a fiberglass needled mat made?

The fiberglass needled mat is made from alkali-free glass fiber yarn as raw material, with a single fiber diameter of 7 to 9 micrometers. The fibers are cut into short lengths ranging from 6cm to 9cm, and then subjected to carding and decomposition to create an extremely fine felt-like material. This material is then fed into a needle punching machine, where it is continuously stitched using thousands of needle punches. Its main components are silica, alumina, and calcium oxide. 

What are the features of a fiberglass needled mat?

It exhibits exceptional properties such as heat resistance, tensile strength, durability, fire resistance, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation. It also offers outstanding insulation, sound absorption, and dust removal efficiency surpassing that of fabric filters. 

Where is the fiberglass needled mat used?

The fiberglass needled mat is used as thermal insulation for such domestic appliances as barbecue grills,electric ovens, microwave oven, coffee cooker, water heater and other appliances need better  energy effiency and less cooking time.

It is also widely used as valve/flange insulation jacket filling,  bbq grill insulation cover or blanket filling,exhaust pipe thermal insulation filling

Available in rolls or die cut pieces based on buyer’s drawing and request.

The fiberglass needled mat can also be laminated or fabricated with foil facing, aluglass cloth facing, stitched with  glass fabric or glass fabric bag, or coated with self adhesive
